KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney stopped by Kansas City on Thursday to raise money for his campaign.
Romney attended the fundraising event on Thursday evening at the Westin Crown Center Hotel, where he spoke to around 400 supporters for about 17 minutes, focusing mainly on the economy.
Attendees at the fundraiser paid between $1,000 and $5,000 to be there.
Romney, who yesterday appeared at campaign events in Oklahoma and Colorado, and who earlier in the day attended an event in Omaha, is staying at a downtown hotel on Thursday night, and is expected to fly out tomorrow.
