MERRIAM, Kan. — Sophia, a 12-year-old girl from Merriam displayed her family’s love of the Royals…. in leaves!
She told us she went over to her grandpa’s house about a block away from her house and saw all the leaves in his yard.
She decided to turn her love for the Royals into action. She delicately, tediously, and carefully worked on the Royals leaf display. We bet you agree that she should be quite proud!
“My grandpa would bring me piles of leaves and I did the art work, it took me a couple of hours but it was fun and was time shared with my grandpa,” Sophia said. “It stayed on his lawn for a few hours. Hope this is a small piece of inspiration for the Royals…!”
