KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A scam artist posing as a Google contractor is strong-arming residents in the Armour Hills neighborhood in Kansas City, Mo.
He’s described as blonde with a goatee and drives a white truck. He tells residents they have to pay for tree trimming or removal in order for Google Fiber to be installed. If
they refuse to pay he threatens to report it to the city and put a stop to Google.
Google said their team members never ask for payment and always carry identification.
Police ask that you call them if you are approached by this man.
