OLATHE, Kan. — More than a month ago, 10-year-old Caleb Schwab died in a water park accident.
His dad, Scott Schwab, is a Kansas representative, and he just got a special gift from one of Caleb’s teacher.
Mrs. O, who would had been Caleb’s 5th grade teacher, put together a memory book with help from Caleb’s classmates.
On Facebook Scott posted a photo of one the memories that said, “Me and Caleb had a sleepover, and my mom asked if he had a food allergy, and he said, ‘are we eating cats.'”
Scott says, “although it brought some tears, it also brought some serious joy. Thank you so very much Mrs. O!!!”
