RAY COUNTY, Mo. — The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Anthony Ray Stevenson was apprehended shortly after 2 p.m. on Saturday following a search for him that began in the morning. Sergeant Collin Stosberg tells FOX 4 that Stevenson was found in a culvert in an area they had been searching, using a camera to locate him.
Sgt. Stosberg says that Stevenson fired shots towards troopers, who returned fire, but nobody was injured and Stevenson was taken into custody. Stevenson was wanted by the US Marshals, has a parole and probation warrant as well as outstanding Clay County warrants.
