MERRIAM, Kan. — I-35 northbound and southbound were closed for about two hours on Sunday afternoon at 75th street because of a wreck. At least two vehicles, an suv and a semi truck carrying coffee creamer were involved.
Five people in the passenger car were taken to the hospital including three children ages, seven, nine and 12-years-old. One adult had critical injuries.
The highway has since re-opened.
