ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — Police in St. Joseph, Mo., are asking motorists to avoid I-229 southbound at Highland Ave., due to traffic incident involving several vehicles.
I-229 southbound at Highland Ave., was closed but has since reopened.
Stockyards Expressway was also closed for a time at I-229 and 36 Highway due to other accidents.
Roads were reportedly icy and police urged drivers to proceed with caution.
