KANSAS CITY, Mo. — People in a Kansas City, Missouri neighborhood are fired up after someone drove through and shot out several car windows on Tuesday morning.

“I’m going to have to spend 200 to 300 dollars to get both of those windows fixed today. Money I do not have,” said Twyler Williams, who was one of the victims.

A neighbor knocked on Williams’ door around 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday and reported the damage.

“It’s frustrating for somebody to work as hard as I do to even go through something like this,” said Williams.

Somebody drove through multiple streets in a Kansas City neighborhood by 40th and College shooting out residents’ car windows.

“I think it’s a conspiracy,” said another vandalism victim, Robert Birch. “Maybe somebody is trying to start up a glass place and has a business so they can pay people to go around and do this!”

Birch also woke up to a knock at his door and discovered that his car windows had been shattered.

“Why would people do this to cause an inconvenience to somebody?” He asked.

Residents believe it was some kids, who were up to no good, using a pellet or BB gun.

“Ignorance, and the other part is stupidity,” said Birch.

“Somebody just driving down here, senseless,” Williams said.

Both Williams and Birch say this is unusual for their neighborhood, and they hope whoever did this gets punished and never comes back.

“Stop doing what you’re doing. Get a job, and stop hating on other people that have nice things in this neighborhood,” said Williams.

“If you’re bored, find something else to do,” added Birch.

There are currently no suspects. If you have any information about who did this, please contact the KCMO police department or the TIPS Hotline at (816)474-TIPS.
