DALLAS — A man was taken away in handcuffs after an assault at Dallas/Fort Worth International airport Thursday.

Passenger Andrew Kennedy filmed the fight, which apparently started after the man arrested became irate that a man he said was gay was standing nearby him, taking pictures.

Kennedy said he was waiting for a flight when he heard yelling nearby.

In the video posted to YouTube, look for the man in the pink shirt, who was the target of the angry man.

A man in a cowboy hat asks the man what he’s so upset about.

“Queers is what I’m upset about!” he said, pointing at the man in the pink shirt. “This f****t right here.”

He then kicks and slaps the man in the pink shirt before he’s taken to the ground.

When asked why he did it he said, “Because this is America. That’s why,” he says. “The same reason you get to live, to breathe, to walk black.”

According to WFAA, the man was arrested but would not comment further on the incident.
