KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Gunfire set off a fracas Saturday night and when the commotion stopped, three people were hospitalized with injuries. The incident began just after 11 p.m. at the 600 block of Norton Avenue where one male shooting victim was located and sent to the hospital in serious condition according to police.
The incident continued when police pursued two people to the 600 block of Myrtle where both people continued to evade authorities. The incident eventually ended in a car wreck at 12th and Oak where a second shooting victim that had fled the original scene on Norton Avenue wrecked a car. That person was also taken to the hospital in serious condition.
A third victim showed up at an area hospital independently with non-life threatening injuries. Police said that suspect information is presently limited and nobody is in custody. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call the TIPS Hotline at (816) 474-TIPS (8477).
