OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — ‘Tis the season for shopping – and shoplifting.
Overland Park Police say that they have made more than 120 arrests since the beginning of October at just one mall alone. But shoplifting isn’t just hurting the stores – it’s also hurting shoppers in the wallet, as the cost of recouping shoplifting losses is passed on to consumers.
