KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Trucks and cars had to work their way around a sinkhole in Kansas City, Kan. Wednesday morning near 18th Street and I-70.

While it isn’t in a busy, high-traffic area, it did cause some headaches for those who work in the industrial area and make deliveries there.

Workers put a metal plate and caution structure over it, and traffic along Bayard Rd. was rerouted.

No injuries were reported.
