Fans of Starbucks coffee will have to fork over a little more for their favorite beverages starting next week.

The Seattle-based coffee chain is preparing to raise prices by an average of one percent.

The price hike will affect Starbucks brewed coffee, tea, latte and espresso drinks.

While drink prices vary from city to city, customers in some markets could pay about 10 cents more for a tall brewed coffee.

Prices will not increase at a vast majority of Starbucks stores for its vente and grande-sized brewed coffees or for its frappucinio drinks.
