LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. — Lee’s Summit police are investigating after a burned body was found in the back yard of a home Monday afternoon. Police said the body was located near NE Strother Rd. & NE Hagen in Lee’s Summit.
Police are calling the man’s death suspicious and suspect foul play. They are asking for the public’s help identifying the victim. He is described as a middle-aged, white male with short brown hair. He is also heavy-set with a mustache and goatee. The victim was last seen wearing a red shirt and blue jeans and black belt.
