LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. – For the last ten years, students at Lee’s Summit High School have banded together and given blood to help people they will never meet.  But this year was a little different because donated blood saved the life of someone they all know.

Last summer 17-year-old Jackson Hill nearly died after a serious motorcycle accident.  One hundred eight pints of donated blood saved his life.
