NEW JERSEY — Chiefs fans: Start making plans to attend the 2014 Super Bowl, and later you’ll have a groundhog to thank.
The 2014 Super Bowl will be the first to be played on Groundhog Day, so logically NJ.com called on a groundhog to pick the two teams that will go head-to-head on what will likely be a cold February day in the outdoor stadium.
The groundhog wisely selected The Chiefs and The Saints, who were both 10-3 in Week 14 of the regular season.
