KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One Conoco convenience store is missing its ATM after a thief took off with it.
The theft happened around 4 a.m. Thursday at the Conoco near Blue Ridge Cutoff and 41st Terrace in Kansas City, Mo.
Police said they received an intrusion alert from the security company. Before police could respond, the manager had arrived. She told officers this is the third attempt to steal the ATM. This time someone broke a two tall window panes to access the ATM inside the gas station.
The Conoco was not open at the time. Police are viewing store surveillance video for suspect information. They believe more than one person may be involved. Police said the suspect or suspects may have used a dark colored vehicle.
