KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police are investigating after three people drove a stolen Jeep Cherokee into Best Buy near I-29 and Tiffany Springs overnight and stole $30,000 worth of merchandise.

Police said the driver smashed the vehicle through the metal security door at the front of the store to gain entry. Within three minutes the suspects managed to steal a number of items — mostly Apple products estimated at about $30,000.

Police said the suspects left the stolen Jeep Cherokee and sped off in another vehicle waiting for them.

Police are reviewing surveillance footage in an effort to identify the suspects.
