KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man who says he’s the uncle of a three-year-old boy found wandering outside near 38th and Wyandotte in Kansas City, Mo., has come forward with information.

The child was reported in the area, unsupervised, at about 8:00 a.m., dodging in and out of cars, nearly getting hit.

“He darted out between my sister’s car,” a woman said. “He’s a nice-looking, clean little child and everything, but we just don’t know where he came from.”

She was among the first to see the child and alerted others to grab him out of traffic.

“It’s been over an hour, and we’ve been walking up and down the street hollering, ‘Who’s missing a child?’ and this person ain’t come out and said anything,” she said.

But a short time later, the uncle told police the child’s name is Aden. He says Aden was dropped off to him Thursday night and that Aden’s parents are from California.

Aden was taken away in  an ambulance to be checked over by doctors.
