KANSAS CITY, Mo. — An accident on I-435 near Blue Parkway in Kansas City, Mo., left one person dead.
Police said two vehicles were involved. One vehicle, a purple Toyota Corolla lost control in the northbound lanes of I-435 at Blue Parkway and struck the inside guardrail before becoming stopped in the inside lane of travel.
A green Toyota Camry, also northbound on I-435, struck the purple Toyota Corolla which was stopped on the roadway. The driver of the Corolla, a male, was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries where he was later pronounced dead.
The man’s identification has not been released at this time.
