WARRENSBURG, Mo. — A train and car collided Sunday evening in Warrensburg injuring at least one person.
An adult and a child were inside a Ford Escape headed northbound on Mitchell Street when their SUV was hit by a train headed eastbound going towards Sedalia, Mo.
It’s not known if the car was having trouble or what caused the SUV to stop on the tracks.
Authorities said one person was taken by helicopter, but it’s not known if it was the child or adult inside the SUV.
No other information was immediately released.
