MISSION, Kan. — Saturday evening’s severe thunderstorm left plenty of work for clean-up crews on Sunday..
In Mission, Kan., the storm was strong enough to send a tree into a house.
The uprooted base of the tree measured close to six feet wide.
The family of four living in the house near 53rd and Lamar told FOX 4 they weren’t home when the tree came crashing down. They also say, they do have insurance and a place to stay for now.
