SEVERY, Kan. — The Kansas Highway Patrol says two people have died and two others have been hospitalized after a car crash.

Troopers say an SUV and a truck collided Wednesday on a highway in Greenwood County near Severy. The 31-year-old SUV driver and a 38-year-old passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. A 24-year-old SUV passenger was flown to a Wichita hospital.

The 52-year-old truck driver was taken to an area hospital.

It’s unclear what caused the crash. Troopers say everyone involved had their seat belts on.
