PLATTE COUNTY, Mo. – Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a truck that crashed into a creek Sunday evening.
The 2004 Ford truck had to be lifted out of the creek near I-435 and Skyview Avenue.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, the driver was a 40-year-old male. He was transported to Liberty Hospital with moderate injuries.
The driver of the truck was heading westbound on I-435 when the truck ran off the left side of the highway into a creek.
Highway Patrol staff said the man was wearing a seat belt.
