PLATTE CITY, Mo. – Two juveniles are now in police custody after being arrested in connection to a burglary and vandalism that occurred at an area high school.
Police say the two 16-year-old males are in custody after several stolen items were recovered from their homes and a wooded field in Platte City on Tuesday. The items were from the Platte County RIII High School, where both boys attend as students.
Police said the damage to the property and burglary occurred at the school on Monday. The items were recovered after search warrants had been served on the juvenile’s homes.
The two teenage suspects are being held pending the filing of criminal charges in the Platte County Juvenile Court.
