KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Saturday afternoon’s game meant an opportunity for a young fan to see his first ever Royals game.

FOX 4`s Dave D’Marko caught up with the possible good luck charm out at the ‘K’ on Saturday before the game.

You no doubt heard a lot about a certain South Korean starting in August of last year, well that was also the same time a Utah boy was born.

That Utah boy, named Clayton, happens to be the first boy born in his family since 1985. His Dad thought that might be enough to bring the Royals their first World Series title since last year, but when it didn`t work out, they decided to pack up the car seat, stroller and everything a one-year-old needs and make the trip from Utah to this year`s Postseason.

“He was a trooper traveled pretty well, it`s worth it getting to see the Royals because it`s a big part of our family and I want to make it a big part of his life,” said Luke Maese, Clayton’s dad.

Even though they live in Utah, thanks to today’s technology, his dad says little Clayton has seen every game his whole life.

He`s even part of the Blue Crew and was looking forward to giving Slugger a hug Saturday.
