KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police are looking for two suspects who robbed the 7-11 at 107th and Blue Ridge Blvd. in South Kansas City on Thursday.

The robbery happened at about 5:15 a.m.  Two men lured the 62-year-old store clerk to the register by pretending to want to make a purchase. One of the men then pulled out a gun and took the cash from the register drawers.  The suspects were last seen leaving the area of the store on foot.

Police have obtained surveillance video from the 7-11 location.

Suspect 1: darker skinned black male, early to mid 20’s, approximately 5’10” with a slender build, wearing black coat over a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, black shoes, and a black baseball cap.

Suspect 2: lighter skinned black male, late teens early 20’s, approximately 5’8”, slender build, wearing a black coat over a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans, white shoes, and a black and gray baseball cap.
