Attacked by a naked man. That’s what happened to a key member of Westboro Baptist Church in a live interview with an online video site — or at least that’s what a group of online video gurus would like you to think.
BattleCam.com — an online video site — posted the video, claiming to have interviewed David Phelps, the son of WBC founder Fred Phelps.Turns out, Phelps does not have a son named David. The whole thing was staged.
The video was Internet fodder at best — a ploy for attention, which they succeeded in getting. Battlecam has used the incident to publicize the ‘public crucifixion’ of a man in Beverly Hills on Easter Sunday.
