Artist and self-proclaimed “camera fancier,” Thomas Leveritt, wanted to show people what they looked like as the sun saw them, so he created a video which showed people what they looked like on ultraviolet camera. The UV camera showed the extent of each person’s sun damage, which cannot all be seen by the naked eye. Then he showed them what sunscreen looked like on skin, and then had his models put some on.
The video has since gone viral, and has been viewed on YouTube nearly nine million times.
