KANSAS CITY, Kan. — The FOX 4 deemed “Crazy Crew” consists of FOX 4 News anchors Loren Halifax, Nick Vasos and Rob Collins, who all volunteered to take on Schlitterbahn Waterpark’s newest attraction, Verrückt, the world’s tallest water-slide.
On Wednesday, the crew climbed the slide’s 264 steps and took the plunge down it’s 17 stories as official test riders. The slide is set to open to the public on Thursday.

Verrückt riders must be at least 14 years of age and at least 54” tall. The combined weight of all the people on-board one raft must fall between 400 and 550 pounds.
