NEW YORK – Craig Cobb may have some explaining to do to his followers in Leith, North Dakota after a televised DNA test revealed he is genetically 14 percent sub-Saharan African and 86 percent European. The Daily Mail reports that Cobb agreed to the test as part of The Trisha Show’s series highlighting race in America.

The white supremacist immediately disregarded the results as ‘statistical noise’ and refused to acknowledge black show host, Trisha Goddard, after she tried to playfully bump fists with him. Cobb told the Mail Online in an exclusive interview that test was sensationalism meant to ‘promote multiculturalism.’

“I agreed to the test because I assumed it was science. Instead it was a scientifically bankrupt procedure, the product of craven and debased executives,” Cobb told the Mail Online.

The Trisha Show is syndicated by NBCUniversal and the full interview is set to air on November 18. The Bismarck Tribune reports that the only black man currently living in Leith found great humor in the DNA test’s results.

“I knew there was one other black person in town. Is he going to want to kick his own self out of town and discriminate against himself?” Bobby Harper told the Bismarck Tribune.
