HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jim Carrey’s daughter, Jane, auditioned for American Idol’s eleventh season, and on Sunday’s episode, the 24-year-old received a golden ticket to Hollywood from judges Jennifer Lopez, Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler.
While the judges did tell her she could improve the volume of her voice and performance, it was definitely apparent that the girl has some talent and she says she wants to make her own place in the world.
After her audition, she called her father with the good news, who spoke to Ryan Seacrest on speakerphone.
“I can’t wait for the world to understand what she has inside of her. This is going to be a fantastic year.”
