CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — The buzz is growing about the possibility of “Hollywood” coming to Missouri.
The Associated Press reported that Cape Girardeau could be the site for the new movie “Gone Girl.” It stars Ben Affleck. The novel, Gone Girl, became a huge hit after it was published in 2012. The setting of the book mostly takes place in a fictional Missouri town. Location scouts are said to have inspected several homes in Cape Girardeau in recent weeks.
