KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police are investigating after a woman was stabbed to death in a northland home Monday.
A concerned relative called police from Warrensburg, Mo. around 9:30 a.m. and reported a stabbing in the 10200 block of NE 38th Street.
Police say when they arrived the victim’s husband was standing in the front yard crying and a woman in her mid 60s was dead on the kitchen floor. Police add that the man told officers that he stabbed his wife.
Police arrested the woman’s husband, who is also in his mid 60s, at the scene.
There is no word yet on what led up to the stabbing. So far it is unclear whether the woman lived in the home or was just visiting.

This is the fourth homicide in Kansas City, Mo. in just four days.
