KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Police are investigating after an apparent drive-by shooting left a woman injured on Sunday afternoon.

According to authorities, an unknown number of subjects in a vehicle fired shots into the home in the 2400 block of Stewart around 1:30 on Sunday afternoon, hitting a female victim inside the home.

The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to a metro hospital in critical but stable condition. There is no description of the subjects or the vehicle involved in the incident.
