When hospitals turned away her sick father, a young Liberian woman took her father home to treat him herself. Stricken with Ebola, the man passed on the disease to three other family members. With no hospital to turn to, the young woman treated all four of her family members alone. She managed to save three of them.
Inspired by her innovative way of treating her sick relatives, others in the community have implemented her means of impromptu home health care.
