What do you get when you mix angry birds, a seven-year-old and a ball player named Frenchy? You get a great friendship and a worldwide following on Twitter!

JP Moore is a super fan in Stillwell, Kansas. He likes Jeff Francoeur who plays for the Royals. Frenchy is Francoeur’s nickname. Moore met Frenchy at a Royals Fan Fest before the
2011 season. The boy was playing Angry Birds on his mom’s phone when Francoeur walked by.

“He said that’s my favorite game and when you see me, yell ‘Angry Birds’ and I will know it’s you!” Moore said.

Moore says he didn’t forget.

“Then I went to spring training and yelled ‘Angry Birds’ he turned around and waved!” he said.

The friendship blossomed in 2011 and now the boy loves going to games.

“I like watching the Royals win of course, and talking to KC Crew girls, eating hotdogs and talking to my buddies,” he said

His buddies are the Royals. Between Francoeur and Danny Duffy, Moore can’t leave the game without a ton of souveneirs. He has gloves, balls and event bats. When the off season came, Moore discovered Twitter and it wasn’t long before LilFrency 21’s infectious spirit began racking up followers.

“A lot of Royals players follow me, too!” he said.

The funny thing is Frenchy isn’t one of the players who follows the boy.

“He said Twitter is not his thing,” Moore said.
