KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Most people have a home inspected before they buy it. Usually, they are looking for flaws like leaky foundations or plumbing issues. But what if your prospective home was the scene of a grisly murder?

Now there’s a website that will tell you called housecreep.com.

The website has been running for a year and already lists 20,000 homes and apartments across North America. A property qualifies for the list if a murder, suicide or arson took place there or if the home was used for nefarious activities such as a grow op or meth lab.

The service is free. Users can also submit information on homes to the site.
