KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Chiefs’ running back Jamaal Charles paid tribute to a teammate Sunday during the Pro Bowl.
Charles, who normally wears #25 on his helmet and jersey, wore #29 on his helmet during his Pro Bowl performance Fansided reported.

Charles wore #29 to honor teammate Eric Berry who had to leave the team earlier this season after being diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma. Berry missed the Chiefs’ final five games of the season.
“This is a diagnosis that is very treatable and potentially curable with standard chemotherapy approaches,” said Christopher R. Flowers, MD, director of the Emory Lymphoma Program at Emory’s Winship Cancer Institute.
Chief’s general manager John Dorsey told NBC Sports that Berry was in “good spirits” following a visit last Thursday, according to Fansided.
