TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Missouri’s NCAA Tournament hopes took a hit in Tuscaloosa.
Alabama beat the Tigers 80-73, snapped their three-game winning streak. The Tigers have little margin for error as they try to boost their post-season stock. So a loss to the now 11-16 Crimson Tide sure didn’t help.
Trailing 42-35 to start the second half, the Tigers cut it to 61-60 with 7:00 left. The Tide had an answer every time the Tigers got close.
Alabama’s Levi Randolph scored a career-high 33 points. Kansas City’s Trevor Releford added 18 points and six assists.
The Tigers (19-8/7-7) play at Georgia Tuesday.
