LAWRENCE, Kan, — Perry Ellis scored a career-high 32 points, leading KU to a 95-65 rout of TCU. Andrew Wiggins added 17 points. Wayne Selden Jr. chipped in 15 for the Jayhawks. Ellis made 13 of 15 shots, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out five assists for KU (19-6/10-1).

“He was great,” Bill Self said. “He made shots, stretched it, then made mid-range shots, took the ball strong to the hole. I think one of his two misses he got back. He was without question our best player today. Other guys played well offensively, but certainly nobody played like Perry.”

Freshman Joel Embiid sat out with a sore back and knee. Tarik Black started in Embiid’s place, but he picked up two quick fouls. Reserve Jamari Traylor, who was held out of Monday’s loss at K-State, returned to the court and scored 10 points. Kyan Anderson paced TCU (9-15/0-12) with 25 points.

KU has won 10 or more conference games for 20 straight years. The Jayhawks travel to Texas Tech Tuesday night.
