COLUMBIA, Mo. — In their first visit to Columbia, the Kentucky Wildcats held off Missouri for an 84-79 victory. The No. 11 Cats were one-and-three in true road games going into Mizzou Arena.

Andrew Harrison scored 21 points and James Young had 20 points for the Wildcats. The SEC’s leading scorer, Jabari Brown, set a new career-high with 33 points in the loss. It was only Mizzou’s third home loss under Frank Haith.

Kentucky (16-5/6-2) moves up to second behind Florida in the SEC. Missouri (16-5/4-4) slips back into the middle of the 14-team pack. The Tigers visit the conference-leading Gators Tuesday night.
