NORMAN, Okla. — The Oklahoma Sooners stomped K-State 86 to 73, extending the Wildcats’ road losing streak to six. The loss drops K-State back to the middle of the pack in the Big 12 at 8-6.
Buddy Heild scored 18 points and Isaiah Cousins had 17 for the Sooners, who led by as many as 27 points in the second half. Marcus Foster led the Cats with 21.
K-State still has two road games to play. The Wildcats go to Texas Tech on Tuesday. Then they host Iowa State, travel to Oklahoma State, and close the regular season in Manhattan against Baylor.
