COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (AP) — Dom Dwyer scored in stoppage time to help Sporting Kansas City rally for a 3-2 win over the Colorado Rapids on Saturday.
Dwyer was a late-game substitution for Sporting Kansas City (2-1-1). Benny Feilhaber tied the game in the 79th minute. Dovale blasted a shot over the outstretched hands of Colorado goalkeeper John Berner.
Graham Zusi scored and Sal Zizzo added two assists for the defending MLS Cup champions. Vincente Sanchez had two goals for Colorado (1-1-1), both on penalty kicks.
