KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Former Missouri Tigers quarterback Chase Daniel is reportedly returning to Arrowhead Stadium.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Daniel has agreed to a three-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs. The deal is reportedly worth $9 million over three years. After entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2009, the 26-year-old Daniel spent the past three seasons as backup QB for the New Orleans Saints.

Daniel is no stranger to Arrowhead, where he played several games in college, including a pair of legendary Border War showdowns against the Kansas Jayhawks.

Before holding a clipboard for QB Drew Brees in New Orleans, Daniel was a 2007 Heisman Trophy finalist at Mizzou. As a member of the Tigers, Daniel threw for over 12,500 yards and 100 touchdowns. He also rushed for nearly 1,000 yards.
