KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Once again, Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles is dealing with blisters on his toes. Charles did not practice Wednesday and this issue has been lingering since last week. Charles became more involved in practice as the week went on when the team was preparing for Tennessee. He eventually started and rushed for 108 yards and a touchdown against the Titans.
In addition to Charles, Anthony Fasano (knee), Justin Houston (possible concussion), Kendrick Lewis (ankle) and Travis Kelce (knee) did not practice Wednesday. Kelce had arthroscopic surgery on his knee Tuesday to repair a micro-fracture. The rookie tight end is out indefinitely and he could eventually be placed on the season-ending injured reserve.
Rookie right tackle Eric Fisher did return to practice after missing the Titans game due to a concussion.
