FORT WORTH, Tex. — Kansas continues to struggle against Big XII opponents. The Jayhawks lost at TCU 27-17, extending their conference losing streak to 23 games. The Hawks couldn’t take advantage of five TCU turnovers.

The Horned Frogs lost three fumbles and Trevone Boykin was intercepted twice. Both interceptions led to KU scores. The game was tied 10-10 to start the second half when Boykin hit David Porter with a short pass that turned into a 75-yard touchdown and a 17-10 TCU lead.

TCU scored again to extend the lead to 24-10 when the Jayhawks answered with a score of its own. Jake Heaps found Jimmay Mundine for a 27-yard passing touchdown coming on the heels of a Horned Frog fumbled punt.

The Jayhakws couldn’t generate any offense in the fourth quarter, only picking up one first down on four separate drives. TCU salted the game away on a nearly five minute, 10-play drive that extended its lead to 27-17. Kansas is now 2-3 and will return home next Saturday to face Oklahoma.
