LAWRENCE, Kan. — It will be a happy holiday break for Kansas. The 18th-ranked Jayhawks beat Georgetown 86-64 Saturday in Lawrence.

Playing their first home game in a month, KU fell behind 23-17 and then finished the first half with a 27-11 run for a 10-point halftime lead.

Tarik Black sparked the Hawks off the bench with a season-high 17 points. Freshman Joel Embiid dazzled the Allen Fieldhouse crowd with 17 points. KU (8-3) is off for Christmas break. The Jayhawks host Toledo on December 30.
