LAWRENCE, Kan. — The Kansas Jayhawks are celebrating a win over the Missouri Tigers! KU won by one point with an 87-86 win in overtime.
KU trailed MU throughout most of Saturday’s game. The Jayhawks came back after being down by 19 points to tie the game twice in the last five minutes before going into over time.
MU took the lead in the last minute of overtime after MU leading scorer Marcus Denmon made a basket, but KU was able to come back for the win after Tyshawn Taylor was fouled during a layup attempt.
The Tigers take on Iowa State on Wednesday, February 29.
The Jayhawks will face Oklahoma State on Monday in Stillwater.
