STILLWATER, Okla. — The Kansas Jayhawks (22-7, 13-3) fell to Oklahoma State (19-10, 7-9) Saturday night, 72-65, although despite the loss, KU clinched the outright Big 12 title before tip-off because Texas and Iowa State both lost.

After leading 52-42 with 10:51 to play, Kansas was outscored 30-13 down the stretch. Sophomore guard Marcus Smart led OSU with 21 points, scoring 20 in the second half. Teammate Markel Brown also scored 21 for OSU.

Kansas was led by freshman forward Andrew Wiggins who scored 15 points, who blew a 10-point second half lead. Freshman center Joel Embiid had 13 points and 13 rebounds. Kansas committed 22 turnovers, 11 in each half. The Jayhawks weren’t alone. Five top-10 teams lost Saturday, all on the road. Kansas will play its final home game of the year at Allen Fieldhouse on Wednesday by hosting Texas Tech.
